Nestled in the heart of Ruston, Louisiana, The Norton Building has been a beloved event venue since 1997. Known for its open-air courtyard, vintage brick charm, and Southern architectural details, it’s a go-to destination for weddings, formals, and elegant celebrations.
Though The Norton Building had hosted meaningful events for decades, they had never invested their own website. With a venue upgrade well underway, the owners went all in on a custom website and branding package to ensure their online presence would match the in-person experience.
The goal was a visual identity and online home that would reflect the venue’s simple elegance and feel like just the right blend of modern and timeless.
A standout feature of this project was all of the custom artwork. From a commissioned watercolor painting for the homepage, to a sketch of the grand staircase, to hand-drawn icons for their social media, there are little custom touches everywhere that make the website feel personal.
The Norton Building now has a brand identity that honors its legacy and matches the professionalism they bring to their events. And a brand new website that finally showcases the uniqueness of their one-of-a-kind venue.
